The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that took place in the French city of Lyon and left several people injured.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's wishes of speedy recovery to the injured.
