The State of Qatar expressed Friday its strong condemnation and denunciation of an explosion that targeted a security checkpoint in Jalalabad city in Eastern Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed, in a statement released today, the State of Qatar's firm rejection of violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement also expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government, and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
