The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that took place in Kunduz city in northern Afghanistan, killing 15 citizens.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Afghanistan.
