The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing of a hotel in the city of Galkayo in central Somalia, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Somalia, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
