The State of Qatar has expressed its condemnation of the bombing that targeted a mosque in eastern Afghanistan's province of Khost on Sunday, and resulted in several deaths and injuries among worshipers.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated in a statement the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
