The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack that targeted a school and a police station in Garissa County, Kenya, which killed three teachers and injured a child.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and people of Kenya, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
