The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a police station in the province of Baghlan in northern Afghanistan, causing deaths and injuries of 40 people.

In a statement Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of victims, and government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
