The State of Qatar strongly condemned the attack on a church in Russia's Chechen Republic, which led to the deaths.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement stressed Qatar's total rejection to targeting the places of worship and intimidating the safe civilians.

The statement voiced the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims, the government and the people of Russia.
