The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack which targeted an army camp in central Mali, leaving deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Mali, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
