The State of Qatar condemned the car bomb attack on the convoy of Afghanistan's Logar governor, killing 8 security personnel and wounding 10 others.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and the people of Afghanistan, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
