Qatar Condemns Attack in Southern Mali

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a checkpoint south of Mali, killing seven people, including two policemen, a customs officer, and four civilians, including two Ghanaians.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the governments and peoples of Mali and Ghana.
