The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack that targeted a bus in central Egypt and left a number of people killed and injured.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to families of the victims and the people of Egypt, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
