The State of Qatar strongly condemned the attack on a government building in Jalalabad, eastern Afghanistan, which resulted in several deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims, the government and the people of Afghanistan, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
