The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the armed attack and clashes in the town of Arbinda in northern Burkina Faso near the Mali border which left dozens of people dead.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement voiced the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Burkina Faso.
