The State of Qatar is monitoring the latest developments in Taiwan, and calls on all parties to avoid escalation and abide by the international legitimacy and the relevant United Nations resolutions.

The State of Qatar recognizes the important and pivotal roles of the United States and China in preserving security and stability both regionally and internationally.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the State of Qatar's firm position on the One China principle and respecting the principles of international law including the principle of sovereignty of states and friendly ties among them.
