In light of the pressing economic circumstances and challenges that the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is passing through, the State of Qatar announces 10 thousand job opportunities for young Jordanians to help them achieve their aspirations and contribute in supporting the economy of their country, and a package of infrastructure and tourism investment projects worth $500 million.

The State of Qatar concentrates its support on the projects of a sustainable nature to create a foundation on which the Jordanian economy has been based for years. It also concentrates on supporting the youth who represent the hope for the future and the moving force of production as has been proved by the experiences of a number of emerging economies.

The provision of work opportunities for the Jordanian youth and the implementation by the State of Qatar of projects in Jordan through the establishment of an investment fund for the infrastructure and tourism projects shall move the wheel of investment and open direct and indirect investment opportunities either during the implementation period of these projects or after they enter into the stage of providing their services or products.

The State of Qatar, in supporting the government and people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is inspired by its firm and historical relations with the brotherly kingdom of Jordan and its well-established principles and solid Arab values. The State of Qatar confirms its commitment to and fulfillment of its Arab national and Islamic obligations in favor of the brotherly Arab countries and their peoples. In this context, we must praise a number of the firm Jordanian positions on a number of Arab national issues, foremost, the Palestinian cause for which the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan represents a strategic, historical and popular depth, especially in terms of preserving the Islamic and Arab rights in the Holy City of Jerusalem under the grand Hashemite custodianship. The support of the State of Qatar at this time is a support for this steadfastness and constancy. 

With Allah blessings, we are confident of the ability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its fraternal people to overcome this stage which will only increase their cohesion and determination on building their country despite the current challenges.
