Qatar Welcomes SDF's Integration in Syrian Military Institutions

The State of Qatar welcomes the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the military institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs describes this development as an important step towards consolidating civil peace, strengthening security and stability, and building a state governed by institutions and the rule of law. It also reiterates the State of Qatar's position that Syria's stability and prosperity require the state to hold a monopoly on the use of force by having a single army that represents all Syrians, thereby ensuring the preservation of the country's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
The Ministry also expresses the State of Qatar's appreciation for Syria's approach and its concerted efforts to bring all segments of the Syrian people together under state authority.
The Ministry further reaffirms the State of Qatar's full support for Syria's sovereignty and the Syrian people's aspiration for freedom, development, and prosperity.
