Qatar Strongly Condemns Israeli Occupation’s Airstrike on Syrian Town

The State of Qatar strongly condemns the Israeli occupation's airstrike on the town of Koya, west of Daraa, in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several individuals. Qatar considers this a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that the ongoing assaults by the occupation on Syria and Lebanon, alongside its continued brutal war on Gaza, threaten to escalate violence in the region. In this regard, the Ministry calls on the international community to exert pressure on the occupation to comply with international legitimacy resolutions.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar's full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and the aspirations of its brotherly people for peace and stability.
