Qatar Strongly Condemns Bombing Targeting Mosque in Niger

The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a mosque in southwestern Niger, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries. In this context, it affirms its full solidarity with the government of Niger in all measures it takes to maintain security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives and causes. It also emphasizes the State of Qatar's absolute rejection of targeting places of worship and terrorizing innocent civilians.
The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Niger, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
