Authorizations
It is a service that aims to add legal status to judicial documents for use outside the State of Qatar, and the documents issued outside the State of Qatar by the relevant authorities in the country of origin, in addition to judicial documents issued outside the State of Qatar and attested by the Qatari diplomatic mission or the foreign diplomatic mission in the State of Qatar.
Eligibility Requirements
- The document to be attested must include a set of seals and signatures, both live and ending with a seal and signature from Qatari missions abroad or foreign missions accredited to the Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Governmental authorities in the State of Qatar are the competent authorities for attesting copies of documents issued by them (true copies).
- The Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall refrain from attesting any document submitted for legalization that violates the regulations in force in the State of Qatar.
