The State of Qatar and the Dominican Republic signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of sports.

An official from the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the visa exemption agreement for the citizens of the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of China, entered into force on December 21, 2018.

An official from the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the authorities at the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, decided to grant citizens of the State of Qatar, who enter Venezuela for tourism or treatment, visas on arrival valid for 90 days, renewable once only for the same validity period.
