HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to France Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Secretary General of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maurice Gourdault-Montagne.

HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi held on Tuesday a farewell ceremony in honor of HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the State of Qatar Faizullah Kakar, and HE Ambassador the Republic of Liberia to the State of Qatar John Akel Ballout Jnr on the occasion of ending their tenure in the country.

HE Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elisabetta Belloni met today with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Italian Republic Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.

The Arab League held an emergency meeting at the level of foreign ministers to discuss the latest developments of the Palestinian issue. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas attended the meeting.

The State of Qatar provided financial support worth 250,000 Euros to the Arab World Institute for the Arab world and football exhibition which kicked off on Tuesday in Paris and will run till July 21.

A delegation from the State of Qatar which comprised of representatives from a number of ministries, companies, authorities, associations and businessmen, held a work visit to Malaysia to discuss promoting bilateral relations between both countries in vital fields including economy, investment, development, trade and industry.

HE President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria met here today HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Mohannadi .

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Lebanese Republic Mohammed bin Hassan Al Jaber said the State of Qatar exceeded the effects of the blockade adding "our sovereignty is a line that must not be crossed."

The State of Qatar participated in the Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum held in Moscow, with a delegation chaired by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
