HE Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Ali Khayre met here Saturday with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia Hassan bin Hamza Hashim.

HE President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega Saaverda received Saturday the credentials of HE Mohammed bin Kordi Taleb Al Marri as (non-resident) Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Nicaragua.

HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda met on Saturday with HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation of Conflict Resolution Dr Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani, on the sidelines of the international conference on regional and international cooperation in counter-terrorism and its financing through drug trafficking and organized crime, which was held in Dushanbe.

Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe hosted today an international conference on regional and international cooperation in counter-terrorism and its financing through drug trafficking and organized crime. The conference was held in cooperation with the State of Qatar, the United Nations, the European Union and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi visited an exhibition, organized on the sidelines of the review of the third national report of the State of Qatar, by the team working on Universal Periodic Review of the human rights (UPR) at its 33rd session.

Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, who is also Chair of the ministry's Committee on the Law of the Sea, issued a statement on the State of Qatar's assigning of its economic zones on its shores and the shores of islands in the Arabian Gulf under its sovereignty, which included an exclusive economic zone on its shores and the shores in the Arabian Gulf under its sovereignty.

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani hosted Wednesday an Iftar banquet in honor of their excellencies heads of diplomatic missions accredited by the state, their excellencies ambassadors of the State of Qatar abroad, and ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
