HE President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sri Lanka Dr Rashid bin Shafea Al Marri, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

HE Foreign Minister of Indonesia Retno Marsudi met with HE the State of Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia Ahmed bin Jassim Al Hamar, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

HE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al -Thani has affirmed that the Qatari Embassy in Jordan is ready to provide all forms of cooperation to enhance relations between the two countries through the convening of the Jordanian - Qatari Business Council.

The State of Qatar has renewed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's announcement of his intentions to annex Palestinian land to the occupation, stressing that the State of Palestine has and will continue to belong to the Palestinians despite attempts by some parties to change this fact by excessive force.

HE Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi said that the position of the State of Qatar in terms of supporting the Palestinian cause in all international events will never change.

The State of Qatar stressed on the importance of a United Nations Declaration on the Negative Impact of unilateral and coercive measures on the state of human rights.
