In implementation of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani, to send urgent medical aid, in support of the State of Qatar, to the efforts made by the sisterly Republic of Tunisia in combating the coronavirus (Covid-19), the urgent medical aid arrived today in the capital, Tunis, provided by the State of Qatar through the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), weighing of approximately 10 tons, to the Republic of Tunisia.

In implementation of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani to send urgent medical aid in support of the State of Qatar to the efforts made by the friendly Republic of Rwanda in combating the pandemic of the coronavirus (Covid 19) the shipment of urgent medical arrived in the capital, Kigali.

Upon the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to send urgent medical aid as a support of the State of Qatar to the efforts made by the friendly Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal in combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the urgent shipment of medical aid arrived today in the capital Kathmandu.

The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), sent on Wednesday four shipments of urgent medical assistance to the Republic of Tunisia, the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Rwanda, and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, in support of the efforts of friendly governments to confront and contain the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).

The State of Qatar has reaffirmed its commitment to continue efforts to provide an environment conducive to youth participation in the development process, noting at the same time the unprecedented challenges posed by the emerging Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, especially since the youth category was not isolated from its catastrophic effects, pointing to its efforts to provide education services for children and youth.

HE Ambassador Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al -Thani, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations has affirmed that the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations is an opportunity to renew the principles and values established by the founders of the United Nations as well as to enhance multilateralism.

In implementation of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the third shipment of medical aid (16 tons) from the State of Qatar has arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

HE Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi said that the Committee, in coordination with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has delivered the first financial payment of the State of Qatar's grant to a number of beneficiaries from the Maskan Kareem (A Decent House) project to renovate the homes of the poor in Gaza Strip.
