Ministry of Foreign Affairs Holds Second Induction Meeting for Students Studying Abroad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organized the second induction meeting for students studying abroad, in the presence of HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi along with foreign ministry department directors.

In his speech during the meeting, Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi said that after the blockade, Qatar has proved that it is a strong country thanks to the steadfastness of its people, the wisdom of its leader and the strength of its economy.

The Secretary-General urged the students to adhere to the Qatari identity and scientific and moral commitment, pointing out that the student sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs represents the State, which is a great responsibility.

He also urged the students to persevere and strive to contribute to the development of the country, stressing importance given to them to continue studying and join work later.

The Secretary-General said that the Qatar Vision 2030 is a socio-economic and political vision in addition to human development, stressing that education is fighting poverty, ignorance, extremism and terrorism.

For his part, Head of Human Resources Department at the Ministry Abdulaziz Abdulqader Al Ahmad said that in light of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' keenness to provide qualified human resources capable of keeping up with the vision of Qatari diplomacy, the scholarship program was designed to attract distinguished students to have a generation of Qatari diplomats who will be able to raise the name of Qatar in all international forums.

Al Ahmad stressed the great attention paid by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to its students, as they are provided with all facilities.
