South African President Meets Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

HE President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa met today with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, during his visit to South Africa.

During the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of South Africa and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of South Africa.

For his part, HE the South African President entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir and his wishes of health and happiness to him as well as his wishes of more progress and prosperity to the people of Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means to promote them in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.

HE the President of the Republic of South Africa praised the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, expressing his aspiration to promote the level of partnership between the State of Qatar and the Republic of South Africa.

For his part, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the depth and strength of relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of South Africa.
