Qatar Participates in Arab Ministers of Economy and Finance Meeting in Argentina

The State of Qatar, chaired by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Argentina Fahd bin Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana, took part in the meeting of Their Excellencies Arab Ministers of Economy and Finance, which was held on the sidelines of the 11th ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) from December 10 to 13.

During the meeting, HE Ambassador Fahd bin Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana underlined the importance of the accession of all Arab countries to the WTO, noting the readiness of the State of Qatar to provide all support to Arab countries during the accession process.

He praised the progress made by the World Trade Organization (WTO) on the Doha Development Agenda and called for the completion of the Doha Round negotiations, saying that its success is an important element in enhancing the credibility, effectiveness and fairness of the multilateral international trading system.

On the issue of Jerusalem, HE the Qatari Ambassador said that the US decision has placed the relationship of the United States with the Arab and Islamic nations at stake, affirming the State of Qatar's total rejection of the US decision and its full support for the Palestinian cause.
