HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met today with HE Director General of Political Affairs and German Special Envoy for Libya Ambassador Christian Buck, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, the latest developments in regional issues, especially the situation in Libya, were reviewed.
During the meeting, HE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Regional Affairs reiterated Qatar's full support for the Libyan political track, the relevant Security Council resolutions, and efforts aimed at reaching a national consensus that leads to presidential and parliamentary elections and achieves national reconciliation, stability and peace.
