HE Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi on Monday met separately with HE European Union Representative in Palestine Sven Kuhn von Burgsdorff, HE Representative of the International Quartet in Jerusalem and Ramallah John Clarke, HE the new Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland, HE France's Consul General in Jerusalem Rene Troccaz, and HE the Netherlands Representative in Palestine Kees van Baar.

During the meetings, they reviewed the latest developments in the difficult conditions experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip and ways to alleviate these crises.

During the meetings, HE Ambassador Al Emadi pointed to what the State of Qatar had recently done in announcing the provision of a new grant of $360 million to the residents of the Gaza Strip, stressing that the State of Qatar will soon start the first phase of the project to establish and equip Hamad Bin Jassim General Hospital in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and that the coming days will see the opening of Noura Bint Rashid Mohammed Al Kaabi Dialysis Center.
