 HE the Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Dato Lim Jock Hoi received the credentials of HE the accredited Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the ASEAN Fawziya bint Edrees Al Sulaiti, via video conferencing.

HE ASEAN Secretary-General hailed the distinguished relations between the State of Qatar and the ASEAN.

HE ASEAN Secretary-General also wished HE the Ambassador success in her new duties, stressing that he will provide all support to promote bilateral relations between the ASEAN and the State of Qatar.

On her part, HE the Ambassador expressed her full readiness to work jointly with the ASEAN to support and strengthen bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Association in various fields, especially in economy, trade and investment.
